WWS Spoke Calculator

With the help of the spoke calculator, you can enter a WWS article number for easy ordering of spokes from your dealer. Please observe the following instructions.

Have the following measuring equipment ready

Caliper gauge
Protractor or set square
Ruler
WWS sketch for dimensioning the spokes

Monitor resolution

To be able to display the WWS spoke calculator in full, your monitor should have a minimum resolution of approx. 1600x1000 pixels and a minimum size of 19". If necessary, adjust the scaling in the display settings if you are using a smaller screen (right-click on screen). However, this may mean that not every spoke can be displayed in every length.

Proceed as follows

  • Important: Firstly, you must calibrate the spoke calculator using the ruler (top right) so that the spoke is displayed on the screen in its original size. To do this, ideally hold a similarly sized ruler at the beginning and end and compare them for conformity.
  • Measure your pattern with your measuring equipment
  • Enter the values determined into the spoke calculator
  • Check by comparing your pattern with the spoke displayed in the spoke calculator

You can also build a spoke on the screen without measuring your spoke pattern beforehand - simply by entering values in the spoke calculator - and compare it with your spoke. No guarantee can be given for the comparison between the sample available to you and the spoke being built up on your screen.
